Resorts
I decided to seperate Resorts from Hotels because they usually enatil are more whole approach to a vacaation including ammeneties that are different and unique from hotels, such as all inclusive options and on site activities.
Most resorts are tailerd for the masses and will not find their way onto this page. An exeption are the select members of the Island Outpost, http://www.islandoutpost.com, a site worth looking at.
These resorts by Aman are mostly located in the South Pacific and Indian Ocean area, but there are a few in France and the Turks & Caicos as well. They are exquisit: http://www.amanyara.com.

- Kamalame Cay http://www.kamalame.com/ - Located on its onw Cay this small resort offers all you can imagine.
- http://www.vatulele.com - One of the finest bare foot resorts in the World. Truely.
- Pink Sands Resort http://www.islandoutpost.com/PinkSands - One of the first Resorts on this small island with front to the famous pink sand.
- Ramora Bay Resort http://www.romorabay.com - A little more affordable than most of the other resorts and not facing the pink sand but the bay side. I have stayed here many times. The staff is very freindly and helpful, the rooms spcious and clean.

- Kamarakom Lake Resort. This littel resort was found in a article a while ago. Have not been there, but the proces are low and jsut look for yourself. The website really states it all. This small 30 villa eco resort is settled in a small piece of Jungle and stands out from the other mega resorts typical for this area. I stayed with my wife for one week and all our expectations were met.
Incredible accommodations in a luxury villa each with private pool and daily pre-breakfast at the porch. The culinary experience did not lack behind. The incredible steak ceviche still has not been found anywhere else.
The staff really took care of every wish and the spa also met our expectations. It is very pricey, but we are looking forward to returning.
